Tommy James Spotify music mashup of oldies but goodies with Cinnamon Girl Sunshine of your love

Tommy James knows how to make a hit Spotify single with his vibrant and exciting mashup of Neil Young’s Cinnamon Girl and Cream’s Sunshine of your love. The oldies but goodies blew up in the  60’s and early 70’s, but Tommy James knew that 2020 would be the perfect time to release his track worldwide via Aura Entertainment/The Orchard.

When asked about his creative choices, James says, “I’ve been wanting to glue these two songs together for a long time.” He claims his inspiration came from the songs remarkably similar tempo and key and “the riffs work together hand-in-glove.”

"Cinnamon Girl" by Neil Young with Crazy Horse was on the album Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere released in 1969, reached #34 in 1970 on Billboard magazine's Top 200.  "Sunshine Of Your Love" by Cream was on the album Disraeli Gears released in 1967, reached #77 in 1968 on the LP chart.

Tommy isn’t new to rebranding old hits and making them into chart toppers. This year he also released a remake of his 1970’s song, Draggin’ the Line, which he transformed by having new features T.O.N.E.z and Steven Van Zandt appear on the track.

Tommy now has his own show on SIRIUS/XM RADIO – “Getting’ Together With Tommy James” – Sunday evenings from 5-8 pm on the 60’s at 6 channel
